2 Minute Nut refers to jokes made in parody of a tweet in which a man outlined how to have sex for 45 minutes, concluding two minutes of ejaculation, an extraordinarily long period of time for a male orgasm. As the tweet began spreading, people made jokes about the "two minute nut" by pairing the phrase with various videos, GIFs and images.

Origin

On June 17th, 2018, Twitter user @aintulefteye tweeted the amount of time one should spend doing each sex position in order to have sex for 45 minutes, concluding with "2 minute nut." The tweet, shown below, has since been deleted.

Spread

After the tweet was posted, Twitter users began posting images and GIFs related to the "two minute nut," generally making fun of the intensity an orgasm of such a length would require. User @CraigSJ posted an image showing a man's soul leaving its body, gaining over 35 retweets and 85 likes (shown below, left). User @BlueBeastGUY tweeted a titan from Attack on Titan, gaining over 40 retweets and 50 likes (shown below, right).

Other tweets mocking the two minute nut include a tweet by @Chief_Nell that included the screaming cowboy from Big Enough (shown below, top) and user @DeanIsReal posted an edited clip from Spongebob Squarepants gaining over 30 retweets and 35 likes (shown below, bottom).
