15 Duodecillion (Base Form) refers to a series of powerscaling memes that compare characters from various media, with their power level set to 15 duodecillion, against multiple characters from the Dragon Ball series, with every opponent failing to match the power level. Spawned by a viral Stelio Kontos edit, the format has been used online since late July 2024.
Origin
On July 24th, 2024, TikTok[1] user @thesandwich_0 posted a parody powerscaling meme in which American Dad character Stelio Kontos was powerscaled against multiple characters from the Dragon Ball anime series, with Stelio Kontos' power level set to 15 duodecillion and every Dragon Ball character failing to reach the same level. The video (shown below) garnered over 2.8 million views and 246,000 likes in three months.
Spread
In late July 2024, the video saw viral spread online as it was shared on X / Twitter, iFunny[2] and other platforms. For example, on July 25th, 2024, X[3] user @ruggyscruggy made a repost that garnered over 5,000 reposts and 34,000 likes in three months.
On July 31st, 2024, X[4] user @molegato posted the earliest found edit using the video as an exploitable, replacing Stelio Kontos with character Renata from Gameverse. The video (shown below) received over 20 reposts and 110 likes in three months.
On August 1st, 2024, X[5] user @bxnny078 posted an edit featuring Fuuka Yamagishi from Persona 3, with the upload (shown below) gaining over 970 reposts and 7,400 likes in three months.
More similar edits featuring various characters were shared on Reddit, TikTok and X in the following months.
