Origin
The earliest usage of the expression_Aesthetic Warning_ was posted on October 30th, 2020 by TikTok[1] user @jeonginswife. The post (seen below) features the Aesthetic Warning text centered with two warning emojis and a series of random videos with Adele's song "Send My Love" playing in the background. The video garnered 1.2 million plays and 233,000 likes in three years.

The ⚠️AESTHETIC WARNING⚠️ trend reached peak popularity on TikTok in May 2022, with some users posting "Jiafei" and other Floptropica jokes alongside it. For instance, on December 21st, 2022 TikTok[2] user posted a compilation video (seen below, left) featuring Jiafei and other viral videos, which received 1,000 plays and 80 likes in six months. Another example, posted on March, 9th, 2023 by TikTok[3] user @teddy_perry, gathers a series of random viral videos, which garnered 26,300 likes in three months.
