LulzSec is an anonymous group of hackers who recently soared into the status of Internet pranksters du jour after releasing massive volumes of personal information in a series of hacks against corporate online databases and government websites. Not only does Lulz Security pack a heavy punch, the group has been also prone to express their love for teh lulz, including vandalism of PBS frontpage with Nyan Cat and a fake news article about Tu Pac still being alive or embedding a "Dimitri finds out" video on the frontpage of cybersecurity firm Infraguard. Here's a timeline of Lulzsec's exploits to date.

I hope LulzSec does epic requests. Dem schools dun derped and restricted a lot of stuff… and i cannot drawball, minecraft, or that stuff now. Hell im lucky to be here (for now…)

And given LulzSec rep and… recent achievements… they may be able to solve my problem.

Screw this… I'm pulling out my phone. I'm off to /b/ to lure LulzSec into my… reverse trap… ie get them to do my dirty work for me.

Allows me to explain why this stuff goes on thru the internet and is never stopped by anyone.

The governments and nationz cannots do a thing to stop the roody-poo's of the internetz because anonymous is too strong. If you wer 2 shut down 4chan, anonymous would kill your entire country's internets. LulzSec cannot be stopped because they have the immunity of /b/!

Also, thanks for your bank details. Lulz.

Personally, I'm thinkin' this is a breach…of nationlulz securities.

@moronic

People ARE doing something, it's not that they AREN'T doing something, it's that they CAN'T do anything effective.

These "organizations" serve to remind companies to always check and upgrade their security measures.

But at least LulzSec is finally starting to have a goal, versus the early "hack-for-the-lulz" mindset they had.

Why is it that organizations like this exist without anyone doing a thing? Fucking dicks.

Totally. But it's astounding when you see these leaks and find out how many of them have passwords like "123456." It's the bare minimum not to recycle them, right?

Lol! passwords don't always matter. There is a tool out there that will ask facebook for your password and there is another one that will do the same for any e-mail.
