Hell hath no fury like a fan of Baby Yoda scorned. Disney+ offered up the season finale of The Mandalorian early this morning, and all anyone can talk about is Jason Sudeikis's character punching Baby Yoda…not once, but twice at the very beginning of the episode. Soon his name became a trending topic on Twitter, with many debating if the actor should be punched or cancelled for hurting the biggest celebrity of 2019. Below are some of our favorite tweets surrounding this extremely sensitive and ridiculous matter.

First, the video evidence.

Violence appeared to be the only response.

Then the news broke-out.

GIFs were used for defense.

But the actor was still receiving threats.

Even his former improv school apologized.

Friendships were ruined.

There might actually be just an entire Star Wars film dedicated to retaliating.

Fair is fair.

Now we wait for his Wikipedia page to be updated accordingly.

At least Baby Yoda made sure to not receive a third hit.

Sometimes, we must respond to the call.

RIP to his career.

However, some users were entertained by the actor's appearance.

In fact, some wanted to see him and actor Adam Pally return to their roles in Season 2.

Or even a spinoff.

While the world remains forever changed by Sudeikis' actions, at least we can all unite over the fact that none of us knew this?

I really hope that these are just for fun, and that nobody are actually wishing him harm for punching a computer simulated alien.

Pretty sure it's a muppet most of the time.

It's sometimes really hard to tell now these days (though I do hope people are just joking).
