At first I didn´t like this meme, most of the early variations were just the picture with just a text. But with time the versions became more elaborate, creative, funnier and wholesome most of the time. For those reasons I think it deserve The Meme of the Year status. Im glad.

What's interesting is that not only did none of these memes make the decade's top 50, but not a single one from 2019 was eligible. I guess they didn't want the 2 polls to conflict with each other. I didn't even notice until I started gathering some stats from the decade poll for a forum post I'm working on.
