Trollge should be confirmed and added. Although it started a month early, the bulk of the popularity being in 2021 greatly overshadows that.

You may vote for Trollface Incidents or Schizoposting instead.

Farm Zombie

This is where I voted for a dark horse candidate, Parappa.

Dhar Mann and other YouTubers trending mainly in 2021 should also be candidates
Friday Night Funkin' blew up a lot in 2021 (not a candidate yet for some reason)
Squid Game was a huge show as well (already a candidate)

While I do feel like think mark and Where the fuck are we Kris are great memes that deserve to be remembered, I'm going for amogus for the sheer power it had, ravaging the internet to the point where the terms "Among us" and "Imposter" most likely will be rarely used in media for the next few years for the sheer association with the meme

T-Spin Triple!

"Think Mark!" will likely be the winner because it was from the most pivotal part of Invincible, and like the show, it was an overnight success, but I voted for "Look what they need to mimic a fraction of our power" because it has such potential for clever edits, and because it's a badass quote in its own right.

Trying to pick between Wiseposting, Bernie Sanders Sitting, and the Zoom Cat Lawyer. Pretty sure Amogus will win this year though.

Mr. Vendetta

My favourites:

Amogus
Think Mark
We're here to kill Chaos
Kris where the fuck are we + Deltarune Chapter 2 in general

Baithooks

I'd like to point out that Mordetwi should not be eligible for this year. It was a meme that started many years prior and saw a short comeback this year. It's a much older meme just brought back akin to troll face's resurgence.

"Think Mark, Think!" is almost the same level of funny as the abby choke meme, which was really funny despite how much I dislike TLoU2, It does have a difference, in that you can change the structure of his speech to fit the context and that's a good combo for a meme.

However, I'll say that it's an alright meme, but not my pick for the year since it doesn't really interest me. That would be the Kris and Susie meme.

My reasoning being that the quality of Kris and Susie memes have been some of the greatest hitters of this year thanks to artists wanting the make the meme feel right.
