Another month of 2023 is behind us and as we heading into the Meme Boy Summer there's just one last hurdle to overcome: selecting the best meme of May, of course. The month gifted us with a selection of memes for every occasion, from the virgin-vs-chad-coded I Am a Surgeon, Dr. Han to Yeonmi Park telling extremely believable stories about every single country on Earth to Tetsuo from Akira having very unpleasant intrusive thoughts. Pick one you like best and maybe, just maybe, it will be crowned the next Meme of the Month.

And shouldn't the Link entry be about the construction feature in TotK given that was the biggest feature? Femboy Link was popular a few years back

I’m pretty positive the Dr. Han meme is going to win, that shit was everywhere and you couldn’t get away from it. Never was a fan of it, thought it was just obnoxious, but it is what it is. I really like the Korok abuse, TotK has been really fun, everything that has been done with that game has been incredible, and watching what people have done to the Koroks in the game has been absolute gold.

I'll say that dr han, barbie and ken, and the akira meme are the highest contenders to be meme of the month, they all have a massive presence thanks to artist redraws, edits, and their exploitability in memeing is incredible. So those three are definitely have to spot at at least top 5 with one of them being the meme of the month
that said, I love and will vote for mimi sentry. She is arguably the worst meme we had this month since nothing about her was really expliotable nor inherently funny, but she genuinely is my favorite trend since her design is very adorable, and reminds me of the old days of Gijinka-fication in the early 2010s. I just miss that sort of cuteness that you can come across in a sea of funny, junk, politics, and whatever else
