Will Smith slap would win by a landslide in any other timeline, but Elden Ring has simply been rocking memes ever since upon release. Hell it came at us with "touch grace" and "maidenless" right as the internet was saying "no bitches" and "touch grass", I cannot overlook this much.

I think Elden Ring is the best qualified candidate even if The Slap generated the most attention. Mainly because Elden Ring has been a month-long thing while I feel that Slap memes got oversaturated and tiring extremely quickly.
