Weekend Meme Roundup: I Can Fix Him, Submissive And Breedable, Roller Coaster Dad
Welcome to the weekend roundup, where the trending memes of the past weekend are rounded up and examined more closely. This past weekend was full of new hitters. There was the parody meme series I Can Fix Him, the viral tweet turned copypasta treat Submissive and Breedable and yet another object-labeling image macro from Reddit in Roller Coaster Dad.
I Can Fix Him
I Can Fix Him is a series of parody memes that reference the stereotypes about romantic preference for abusive partners. In the memes, the phrase "I could fix him" is applied to a character that is clearly exhibiting psychopathic and dangerous behavior and is considered irredeemable. The most popular example of this meme uses the character Chris from Total Drama Island who is widely known as a narcissistic sociopath. As there is no short supply of crazy figures represented online and in real life, the meme itself has a lot of potential moving forward.
Submissive and Breedable
Submissive and Breedable is another meme in the long line of bros being borderline to outright gay with each other. In this context, it's not about telling your bros that they look cute, or giving them a brojob, but telling them that they look submissive and breedable. What this means is that you are asserting the dominant position in the "brolationship" and are telling them that they would be the sub if you two decided to bro down. This phrase is mostly said when a bro is down bad and making it known to the others that he sees them that way.
Roller Coaster Dad
Roller Coaster Dad is the newest exploitable image macro to come from Reddit. The image itself is of a dad and daughter on a roller coaster, with the dad having a mild panic attack and the daughter having a fun time. The image is often used to contrast two things, one good and one bad, to show enjoyment and future dread all at once.
