Gordon Ramsay Dusts Off Idiot Sandwich Recipe to Feed Hungry Memers
It's the question that drives us: "What are you?" Yes, Gordon Ramsay's existential query has returned. Made famous during a Late Show With James Corden sketch in which Ramsay slapped two pieces of bread onto the ears of CBS anchor Julie Chen, the question has only one answer: An Idiot Sandwich.
Since appearing in 2015, "Idiot Sandwich" has become one of Gordon's most popular reactions. And while we want more, it's Chef Gordon's menu, and he picks the dishes. We can only hope that one day he finds an idiot stupid enough to be the meat between the bread.
That day has come.
In a tweet by the English rugby team the Harlequins, Ramsay can be seen smacking a player's ear with bread and yelling the eternal question: What are you? Choking back laughter and tears, the player answers, "An idiot sandwich."

Fans of both the Harlequins and Ramsay's culinary insults rejoiced at the sandwich's return. Some home cooks even showed off idiot sandwiches of their own:

Like how the McRib only returns when pork prices plummet, Idiot Sandwiches can only be made when idiot prices hit record lows. So either the Idiot market isn't looking good, or this was one expensive Idiot Sandwich. Let's just hope that we don't have to wait another four years to get a taste of Ramsay's signature dish.
