Critics Roll Their Eyes At Trump's Promise Of A "Super-duper Missile"
May 15th, 2020 was a very Spaceballs-esque day for Donald Trump, as he coined two new Trumpisms and unveiled the official flag for the Space Force.
After coining America's effort to develop a coronavirus vaccine and/or re-open the economy "Operation Warp Speed,", Trump began touting the progress of the "Space Force," the branch of the military he helped create that will deal with extra-terrestrial matters.
At a ceremony unveiling the flag of the Space Force, Trump hinted at a new weapon which is evidently "17 times" faster than anything China or Russia has developed. "I call it the 'super-duper missile,'" he said.
Though memes about Trump's "super-duper missile" had to compete with memes about "Operation Warp Speed," "super-duper missile" nevertheless trended on Twitter as people couldn't resist poking fun at yet another instant Trumpism.
