On November 8th, 2022, TMZ reported that YouTuber Nikita Dragun was arrested in Miami after cops said she was walking around a hotel pool naked before dousing officers and security guards with water. Law & Crime Network uploaded a video on YouTube explaining the incident.

The influencer was released from prison three days later according to her representative and Miami-Dade County criminal justice records.

At the time, Dragun's arrest went viral on social media after she asked a judge during her hearing whether she had to remain in the men's unit and was denied being transferred to a women's unit (shown below), as the NBC 6 South Florida video of the trial shows.

What Made Her Arrest Resurface In 2024?

Moving forward to February 2024, the YouTube page @unspokencrimemurders posted leaked bodycam footage showing the arrest of Dragun, which shows the influencer throwing water at the police officers and arguing with them.

The bodycam footage spread to Twitter / X and other platforms, especially an unironically moment in which Dragun was singing Ariana Grande's "raindrops (an angel cried)" while being arrested by the police officers. X user @theegrandeheels uploaded a short version of the bodycam footage showing the influencer singing. (shown below)
