"MrBeast rented out an entire theater to watch the Talk Tuah podcast, listen to KSI, and eat Lunchly."

Let every noun in that sentence wash over you like a salve, and you might understand why a recent TikTok from uber-famous YouTuber MrBeast has driven a certain swath of the internet bananas.

What Is All This About MrBeast Renting Out A Movie Theater?

On October 9th, MrBeast posted a TikTok showing how he'd rented out a movie theater for friends in which they watched the Talk Tuah podcast, listened to "Thick of It" by KSI and ate Lunchly, the snack food brand owned by MrBeast, KSI and Logan Paul.

If this doesn't snap something in your brain, then you're probably safe from this TikTok's hypnotic effects, but for many others, particularly those who are extremely online, it felt like the final straw on the camel's back.

Why Is This TikTok Such A Big Deal?

You know that scene in Space Jam, when Stan says, "C'mon, Michael! It's game time! Get your Hanes on, lace up your Nikes, grab your Wheaties and your Gatorade, and we'll pick up a Big Mac on the way to the ballpark!"? That's basically what MrBeast's TikTok is.

The YouTuber, with his Scrooge McDuck-levels of cash, rented out a theater to advertise a bunch of products pushed by himself and his friends.

To top that off, content aggregators on social media uncritically reposted the video, simply writing, "MrBeast rented out an entire theater to watch the Talk Tuah podcast, listen to KSI, and eat Lunchly."

Like "Baby Gronk rizzed up Livvy Dunne," the sentence was wacky enough that it seemed to cause social media users to repeat it like Jack Torrance typing in The Shining.
