A rapper named Blizzi Boi has a song called "41 Song" that's become a major meme on TikTok this month. It's all about being 41 years old, paired with the quesiton, "Did unc snap?"

The leading lyrics, "41 but I got 41 gold," or "41 but I got 41 goals," depending on who you ask, are stuck in the heads of many chronically online "niche community" members, who all think that "41" could be the new "funny number" to replace "67."

But who is Blizzi Boi? Where did his viral "41 Song" come from, and why are people trying to make the number "41" a meme? Let's explain.

What Is The '41 Song' By Blizzi Boi?

The "41 Song" was originally posted to SoundCloud in August 2021, four years before it went viral on TikTok and Instagram Reels. The song is performed by an alleged 41-year-old rapper, trying to emulate other "pluggnb" artists like Summrs.

The song's lyrics are about being older but still having motion. The leading lyrics, which are most well-known today, are "41 but I got 41 gold." Others think he's saying, "41 but I got 41 goals." A consensus has not been made.

Who Is Rapper Blizzi Boi?

The confusing thing about Blizzi Boi is that he doesn't actually appear to be 41 years old. If you watch the viral video of him lip dubbing the song closely, the old filter he seems to be using comes into focus.

Plus, his most recent YouTube video, posted on August 6th, shows a much younger man, unless he's using a "young filter" in the video.

Regardless, Blizzi Boi's been making rap music since April 2013, which makes him older than a Zoomer at least, putting him in so-called "unc status." Since then, his sound has changed, as well as his social media presence.

As of writing, he boasts over 2 million followers on his TikTok account @blizziboitv.

Where Did The '41' Meme Come From?

Blizzi Boi set himself up for viral success when he posted a clip of himself performing the "41 Song" with an apparent age filter on his face. He's posted it several times on TikTok this year, and he also posted it on his Instagram account, which has unfortunately been deleted.

The clip shows him singing the song's hook with the captions reading, "40+ year old pluggnb rapper" and "Did unc snap?"

The song was quickly added to the meme rap database, joining the ranks of other satirical, gimmick hip-hop songs like "I'm the Biggest Bird," "Shi is Bubonic" and "I Used To Have Hoop Dreams," among other examples.

Regardless of whether he intended the song to be a joke or not, it became one anyway, mostly due to the idea of an "unc" posting the "CapCut ahh" video that he posted.

The song centers on the number 41, which immediately likens it to another popular number at the moment, 67.

For those out of the loop, the numbers six and seven became a meme after a viral TikTok trend involving the rap song "Doot Doot" by Skrilla. It was a normal TikTok dance trend at first, but as little Gen Alpha boys began spamming it in real life, it quickly became cringe to many people online.

The stereotype and viral moment coagulated into the "67 Kid" video, which captured a blonde boy saying the phrase unabashedly while his ice cream haircut bobbed along.

In recent memes, the 67 Kid has been powerscaled against the "41 Unc," as in, Blizzi Boi.

Although it sounds like a logical progression, from 67 to 41, it's not. In fact, the whole 41 meme is comically being forced by prominent internet figures like H00pify, known for glazing Baby Gronk a few years back.

It might look like there are a lot of moving parts to this, and although there are, they're all arguably super brainrotted. To understand what's going on with the 41 meme, you just have to dumb yourself down and start hanging out with some 14-year-olds (or 41-year-olds).

We know it sounds painful, but once you listen to a Ken Carson song in the baseball dugout, perhaps your whole worldview will change.
