The "egg blinker method" is a slang term that describes a way of hitting a weed pen or dab pen. According to TikToker @448smokes, this method sees a person hitting their dab pen repeatedly until the light on the pen starts to blink, an indication that the pull is stronger than a standard one.

In the TikTok, @448smokes recommends hitting the pen till it blinks five times and then holding it all in for 8 seconds. Doing so supposedly gives the smoker a feeling of an "egg" being lodged in their throat, the scientific name for which is a "globus sensation." He credits this method to his homie "Fez" (of course) and even went on to post a video clarifying the technique on his YouTube after his original TikTok went viral.

Soon after @448smokes "method" went viral on TikTok, smokers began making memes and jokes about hitting the egg blinker, as seen in a post by @3eyed.bull where he jokes about how the method was probably invented using a clip from the film American Psycho.

Another TikToker, @gasbabyizzyy, posted a video using a filter that made her eyes all read to joke about what it feels like when someone tried to talk to you but you're dealing with the derealization from the egg blinker.
