The new slang term "coems 🤑" is going around on Roblox and TikTok right now and it has a lot of players confused. While it might look like nonsense at first, there is an actual meaning behind the term and it's probably a little bit dirtier than you might expect. Here's what you need to know.

What Does 'Coems' Mean?

"Coems," often punctuated with the Money-Mouth Face Emoji as "Coems🤑" or "Coems 🤑," was coined by TikToker and Roblox player @coolnoob101 sometime in December 2022. The TikToker is known for his comedic Roblox videos where absurd things happen to the game's players set to the most goofy ahh sounds possible.

To put it simply, "coems" is used as an absurd alternative to the word "comes," or more accurately, "cums." It works as a form of algospeak to avoid censorship or bans from using the term "cums." It's often used in the most out-of-context, absurd ways possible, making it hard to determine what it means from an outsider's perspective.

How Is 'Coems 🤑' Used Online?

"Coems" is most popular on TikTok, where it's used in videos of Roblox players interacting with each other in strange and funny ways. If it doesn't appear in the videos, it's often used in the videos' post description without context to let viewers know they're likely watching a Roblox shitpost.

The term has also become popular within Roblox, where players are seemingly using it in any context they can. Several videos of players using the term casually or bombarding players by saying "coems 🤑" have been uploaded to the app since it first went viral in December.
