What Are 'Fruit Tubes?' The Viral 'TikTok' Video Explained
One of the latest viral videos on TikTok has everyone freaking out over a man's review of his neighbor's fruit tubes. In the video, the TikToker gives a largely negative review to what appears to be a hollow tube of hardened Fruit Roll-Ups. So what's the big deal, and why is everyone suggesting there's more to this fruit tube video than meets the eye? Here's what you need to know.
What Are 'Fruit Tubes?'
On April 17th, 2024, TikToker @memphisoverstreet posted a food review video that's now sitting at over 2 million views a day later. In the video, he taste tests his neighbor's wife's "fruit tubes," which appear to be hollow tubes made out of Fruit Roll-Ups that have somehow been hardened in shape.
Throughout the video he expresses some pretty negative opinions on the fruit tube and is seemingly unable to figure out why it tastes so weird. He claims it has "too much filling" and even pulls a hair out of his mouth at one point, suggesting the neighbor's wife should wear a hairnet next time. Still, he continues to eat the fruit tube, even gagging on it near the end.
How Are People Reacting To The 'Fruit Tubes' Video?
As the video went viral, the comments section filled with users implying that the fruit tubes are not what they seem. The implication is that the fruit tubes were shaped using the neighbor's private area, likely referencing an old TikTok trend from 2023 where women discussed wrapping their partner's private parts in Fruit Roll-Ups before performing certain acts.
Besides comments, this has led to a lot of Duets and Stitches on the app where users make the same implications about the fruit tubes. Many of them ask, "Who's going to tell him?" as if too nervous to tell him that he's biting into something that may have been in an inappropriate place. Here's hoping it's all just a joke.
