Man The Game (MTG) was coined by TikToker @axelussy as part of a brain rot meme of a person feeling nostalgic in 2027, thinking about some things that happened in 2025, which includes box art of the PlayStation 5 game Man The Game (seen below).
How To Play 'Man The Game'?
Although the game started as a joke, a few days after @axelussy post went viral, on June 21st, 2024, Kendal Watkins released a point-and-click visual novel game based on the box art game Man The Game. The creator also posted a trailer on her YouTube channel (seen below).
What Are The Memes About 'Man The Game' On TikTok?
TikTokers and the creator of the fake game, @axelussy, continued to expand Man The Game's lore by sharing Photoshop and box art of MTG's sequels. For instance, on June 18th, 2024, he uploaded a series of fake Man The Game box art, with tiles like _Man The Game: Origins, Man The Game 3 Vs. Fat Guy and many others.
People quickly hoped on the joke that Man The Game is an actual game and started to create fake review videos about the franchise. On January 22nd, 2024, TIkToker @frickfrickson posted his fake review of Man The Game 2 (seen below, left), while TikToker @rareknight posted a video on June 23rd, addressing an alleged controversy about Man The Game 9.
