In mid-November 2024, Donald Trump, Elon Musk, Don Jr. and RFK Jr. were photographed eating McDonald's on a private plane while heading to a UFC match. The photo was posted by Trump's former press assistant alongside the caption, "POV: walking by the cool kids table."
The photo quickly went viral, inspiring a whole wave of memes and discourse on social media. Mostly, people used the photo to criticize RFK Jr. for eating McDonald's due to the fact that he's historically rallied against fast food, unhealthy eating and seed oils.
Now, however, the photo is the subject of a whole other line of discourse claiming it was predicted all the way back in 1721.

A day after the Trump RFK Jr. McDonald's photo was posted, X user @boneGPT made a post sharing a bizarre claim. In the post, the user reuploads the McDonald's photo alongside a supposed painting from 1721 said to be by artist Deitz Nuützen, asking if Nuützen predicted the McDonald's dinner. The painting greatly resembles the McDonald's photograph.
The supposed painting was shared by numerous accounts that day, many of whom seemed to believe it was real. However, a day later, Newsweek officially debunked it, revealing that there was never an artist named Deitz Nuützen and that the painting is AI-generated.
In fact, the name Deitz Nuützen is meant to sound like "deez nuts," a memetic phrase used to troll people since 1992.
