A new personality quiz just dropped on TikTok, forcing every pair of best friends or romantic partners to decide who is the Lalala person and who is the Okokok person in their relationship.

The question is based on one thing: the song "See You Again" by Tyler, the Creator. It features two vocal adlibs, "La la la" and "Okay Okay Okay," and each one has its own vibe that TikTokers are identifying with.

How did this trend start though? Are you a "Lalala" person or an "Okokok" person? Let's explain.

What Does 'Lalala' And 'Okokok' Mean On TikTok?

About a month ago, a TikToker named @nevon1nonly posted their own original animation that proclaimed there were two types of people who listen to the song "See You Again" by Tyler, the Creator: one who sang the lalala's and the other that sang the okokok's. The TikToker didn't necessarily specify what that meant, however, others picked up on the vibes of each adlib, determining, for themselves which person they were.

As stated, the original creator of the trend didn't specify what it meant to be a "Lalala" person or an "Okokok" person. However, that didn't stop others who added to the trend to extend their psychoanalysis passed vibes and into certain definitions, personality traits and style signifiers. Overall, though, the two personality types were seen as opposites that are attracted.
