You didn't need to be at the Bronx Zoo this weekend to see a woman trespass the famous African lion exhibit, because videos of the dangerous incident are all over the Internet. In a video posted by the trespasser herself on her Instagram, she enters the exhibit by climbing over the visitor's safety barrier and begins to taunt one of the lions who strangely doesn't really react at all.

Other visitors at the zoo captured videos as well and soon the woman went viral on Twitter with many responding with shock and anger. Below are some of the comments in response to her Instagram post, and the replies that sent the"hashtag":https://knowyourmeme.com/memes/hashtag #BronxZoo began to trend. While the NYPD is said to be investigating the incident, it's really the Bronx Zoo's Cobra Twitter account that we can't wait to hear from.

Not that she isn't retarded. but I don't see how any of the visitors would be safe with that tiny fence being the only thing between them and the lions.

Because there isn't just a fence, the original video doesn't catch the drop-off of the moat surrounding the enclosure.
While the woman wasn't in any immediate danger (unless she had fallen in, I wouldn't put it past persons of this intellectual caliber), she's still earned a nomination for the Darwin Award.

I almost assumed. Just seemed wierd that everyone who taped it from different angles, all managed to make it that unnoticable.
