Today marked the fourth anniversary of Prince's death and Twitter decided to remember the singer by sending the hashtag #RIPPrince to trend all day with people sharing GIFs, stories, photos, and videos. Many were happy to share how they honored the late singer and performer on this date four years ago, including Kamala Harris' husband, Douglas Emhoff. Performances from a George Harrison tribute to his historical Super Bowl performance where he sang "Purple Rain" as it down-poured in Miami received thousands of likes and retweets. While the singer left us all a bit too soon at the age of 57, his memory reigns on in 2020 where we all need a daily reminder to get through this thing called life.
