Trump Went Out To the Ballgame And Got Booed
Well, the Washington Nationals might be down one game against the Houston Astros in the World Series, but their fans won the hearts of many on Twitter late Sunday evening. National Park, the home of the Washington Nationals, hosted Game 5 of the World Series last night, and during a mid-inning shoutout to U.S. Service Members, President Trump and First Lady Melania
Trump were introduced to their fellow Washington D.C. crowd. Seated among them watching the game were Sen. Lindsey Graham and Reps. Steve Scalise and Matt Gaetz.
However, after the teleprompter displayed his face, the crowd responded with a chorus of boos, followed up with a chant of "lock him up!" Naturally, the video went viral the minute it was posted on Twitter, with many people commending the crowd for actively voicing their opposition to the President who is currently on the brink of impeachment. The video clearly demonstrates that the President was not expecting the crowd's reaction, especially after announcing to the media early Sunday morning that United States forces had killed ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi in a raid organized by his administration.
Then came the chants of "lock him up!"
A #WorldSeries stadium full of people enjoying America's pastime booing our criminal President and chanting "lock him up!"If facts and truth still matter and our democracy is still alive, this is the sound of inevitable justice.pic.twitter.com/S80YeuQDgz

There was even a banner promoting impeachment at the game.

People couldn't help but crack jokes the minute the video was released.

#TrumpBooed and thousands at World Series chanting #LockHimUp is a reminder that despite the ISIS leader being killed, it still doesn't change that Trump is a failed president, a criminal and a vile person who despicably uses racism, bigotry and sexism as a political weapon

Can we please all agree that this experiment of having a dumb TV host and shady real estate developer with no government knowledge, 6 bankruptcies, 5 kids from 3 marriages, 23 charges of sexual assault, and 35,000 lawsuits as president is not going well at all? #LockHimUp

Users were quick to point out how much the audience applauded and respected veterans when they were introduced.
The crowd supports our veterans and boos our criminal President. If only elected Republicans would do the same. #TrumpBooed #LockHimUp pic.twitter.com/Nh6ujEshiT

Several even took a guess at what excuses Trump would tweet about following his chilly reception.
Can’t wait for Trump to say the Democrats hires actors to attend the World Series and boo him. #LockHimUp #TrumpBooed

Others joked that Melania Trump was the one who started the "lock him up" chant.
"When I started the Lock Him Up! chant under my breath at the World Series I never dreamed the entire stadium would join in, because it's just something I do at home while he's asleep. Finally I'm feeling such love from the American people"#LockHimUp pic.twitter.com/2lzQtBALg6

Some took the time to point out that voting him out of office is the preferred democratic action.
Booing y'alls president is cute, Bringing that same energy to the polls & not vote for him again is better.JS.

Of course, many users were disappointed by the actions of the crowd in choosing to boo the President of the United States, finding it to be extremely uncouth and disrespectful.
Did the swamp really chant #LockHimUp in reference to the President who gave the order to get the vicious leader of Isis, Baghdadi? That’s a special kind of stupid!

After booing our President, I hope the Nationals lose the World Series. Let’s go Astros!

Joe And Mika addressed the crowd's reaction on Morning Joe this morning, calling the chants "un-American."
"We are Americans and we do not do that. We do not want the world hearing us chant 'Lock him up' to this president or to any president." --

I cannot emphasize this enough:Booing the president of the United States the same day he announces we’ve killed the leader of ISIS is completely un-American and childish.

Twitter's reactions to Joe and Mika's words were not as sympathetic.
Sorry Joe, but that #LockHimUp chant at last night's Nationals game – was EVERYTHING we were hoping for when the Mueller report was finally released – times a THOUSAND!
— Paul Lidicul (@PaulLidicul) October 28, 2019
These two low lifer's Joe and Mika were A ok when the chants of lock her up against Hillary were taking place at every event. Sorry Joe but Trump is a fraud and criminal and belongs in big ugly prison. #LockHimUp

Crowds also booed Herbert Hoover at the World Series in 1931 because of the Great Depression. Baseball fans booing fuck up presidents is as American as it gets. https://t.co/I1NmnNJTUh

After noticing the President did not bring his 13-year-old son to the game, "Barron" began to trend with many asking why he was left at home.
Barron: "What happened to my ticket, Dad?"#WorldSeries #TrumpBooed #LockHimUp https://t.co/dIjElHuWCL

Barron Trump didn't go to the World Series game with his dad.Reliable sources are saying that he preferred staying home where he participated in his favorite pastime, sticking pins in his Donald Trump voodoo doll. pic.twitter.com/EApE4H0s54
— The Tweetwit 🆘 (@TheTweetwit) October 28, 2019
Nothing anyone says about Barron Trump is as fucked up as his dad taking local drunk Matt Gaetz to the World Series instead of him.
— Jonny’sAwakening64 (@SuperJonny64) October 28, 2019
From what I understand, #barrontrump plays competitive soccer – and has school tomorrow, which may also involve…a soccer game. Leave him alone about the World Series. Or is that the best you’ve got tonight against his Dad?
— Janna Fite Herbison (@jannaherbison) October 28, 2019
The President was seen leaving at the top of the 8th inning last night, and did not discuss the game with the media this morning. However, he did mention wanting to release video snippets of the Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi raid.
This is an attempt to continue the reality-TV drama after a night of boos and #LockHimUp chants. https://t.co/g1whteLOmd

Most of the tRumpsters in other comment sections are claiming that there were only about 50 people booing and chanting and that they somehow drowned out the other tens of thousands of rabid tRumpo fans. This is the level of cognitive dissociation we are dealing with nowadays.

great look especially after him killing that "scholar"
Nevermind Nationals losing due to the anti-trump curse.

The people saying that there's noting wrong with Americans being able to boo their president are obviously right.
You've got an immense amount of history and a good number of laws enforcing that as your right.
The people who say that, and then act like Trump should have brought his son to a Baseball game in DC, where most people will obviously hate him because the city is something like 70+% Democrat, are speaking nonsense.
Why on earth would you bring your child to a place where they'll have to watch everyone hating on you?
I would like to think that people might have toned it down if his kid was there, but I doubt it. I think any parent would want to keep their kids away from that.

"Pence are they… booing me?"
"Uh, no sir they were saying… boo-ild. Boo-ild that wall!"

I really hate how I was right that these past few years have just been nothing but people griping and whining for Orange Senpai to notice them… Can we just delay next year or something, I don't think I can hand the quad-annual baby fights…

Saying you can't boo the president because it's un-American is as stupid as it gets. This isn't China. If people are dissatisfied with the job he's doing then they should have every right to express that dissatisfaction. Now THAT'S American.
And for the record, saying you can't boo him because he gave the order to kill the head of ISIS is just as dumb. I guarantee that his generals did the heavy lifting in planning that operation and all he did was give his approval. Who the hell is going to not approve the order to take out the leader of a terrorist group? What president is going to say "nah, let's leave him alone"? If anyone should be getting credit it's the US military (and probably the Kurds from the sound of things). Plus, I bet most of the people making that excuse were more than happy to keep criticizing Obama after Bin Laden was killed.

"We are Americans and we do not do that. We do not want the world hearing us chant 'Lock him up' to this president or to any president."
I couldn't disagree more. With protests in Hong Kong, Chile, and elsewhere in the world, I think it is more important than ever to show that Americans have not forgotten our roots as people unafraid to criticize our government. The world needs to remember that things can change when enough people demand justice. What better way can we show our support for them than by showing that we too hold justice above authority?
Drew
When South Korea elected an erratic corrupt criminal President, the people rose up and she was impeached by her own party within months of protest. Just sayin'
Briham
As a half-Korean, I was very proud of that. Not just how swiftly they removed her from office, but how they protested as well. As I recall, people took to the streets, sang songs, sold food, waved flags, even brought their children out. It was more like a festival than a protest, and I think they organized cleaning crews afterwards. Makes it hard to spin as violent riots.
Drew
They fought and they won. Americans just gave up. South Korea showed everyone how it's done.
DirkDiggums
"but he killed bagdadi, you can't boo him!" Fuck off idiots. If Obama got booed after Bin Laden was killed you'd be calling it "free speech". I can't stand free speech hypocrites.
And of course the left is tripping over their own dicks to make fun of Trump like its the most amazing thing ever he got booed.
