Well, it looks like President Trump might need to create a Secretary of Comedy for his administration because it appears he is having some trouble understanding satire. In a tweet that naturally went viral, President Trump posted a video of a scene from a recent Curb Your Enthusiasm episode that directly mocks Trump and his supporters. In another scene from the episode, the MAGA hat is even referred to as a "people repellant."

Not only did the President enjoy the clip of a foul-mouthed motorcyclist harassing Larry David's character by tweeting "TOUGH GUYS FOR TRUMP," he also pinned the original tweet, but also retweeted it a few hours later. Soon, Larry David's name began to trend, with many wondering on Twitter if the President didn't understand he was the butt of the joke.

The reality of the President not understanding comedy was almost too much for people.

Several were happy that Larry David was healthy and well.

Some thought this was the funniest thing to happen in awhile.

One user pointed out the other ways the episode had poked fun of Trump's supporters.

The fact that the video footage looked like it was filmed on a phone brought delight to some.

Perhaps Trump had not seen the rest of the episode?

Pinning a tweet makes all users notice that tweet first when viewing a profile, so Trump choosing this one, was quite the statement.

Many were flabbergasted by the President not realizing he was being made fun of by the comedian.

Some even tried to imagine how his advisors were handling the tweet.

Our world truly continues to get more interesting by the day.

After this tweet went viral, a clip of Larry David addressing the episode in a 92Y interview from January also began to spread like wildfire. If President Trump was in fact not aware of Larry David's feelings towards his supporters, he definitely knows now.

Hey, remember that post talking about how Kim Jung Un deliberately maintains the image of himself as a chaotic clown in order to make his enemies underestimate him? Which is why North Korea, as a dictatorship, has remained in power for so long?

Just sayin'.

Never heard that and don't believe it. Why would a dictator of a single party state whose only bargaining chip is nuclear weaponry need to look weak to get by? If world leaders genuinely believed he couldn't do anything, they wouldn't bother playing by his rules to try and appease him.
Boris Johnson, on the other hand, the so-called "Trump of England", exactly fits this description and it's been proven to work now that he's in power again. The man is known to leave his hair disheveled to make him appear amusing and likable and his gaffes always seem to somehow endear him to the people. (Ironically, people say the same about Bernie, how his schlubby looks make him appear more regular and earnest compared to his well-dressed rivals)

So, yet still, enjoying anything that doesn't politically pat your head every thirty seconds remains an alien concept to #TheResistance.

Trump is well-known to be infuriated with any joke at his expense – real or imagined. And yes, I'd imagine he actually can't get by without a political headpat every 30 seconds considering his Twitter presence.
