The subreddit /r/AMA, which stands for "ask me anything," allows celebrities, influential people, people in interesting career paths and more to tell their stories in an interactive way with the rest of Reddit. And once in a while, there’s a thread that turns out to be an absolute gem.

We learn a lot about the behavior and experiences of others through /r/AMA, and there’s always some funny stories that come up in the good threads, too. One of this month’s best was a post from a concierge at a five-star hotel. If you’re unfamiliar with the concept of a concierge, it’s someone who assists a guest in planning and making the most of their vacation after they arrive and makes their stay as comfortable as possible. At a five star hotel where some of the best rooms cost a fortune per night, there’s an interesting crowd that comes by, according to OP. Here’s some of their best stories.

The Original Post

When you post something like this on /r/AMA, you have to know, deep down, that you’re going to get a lot of questions about the sexual habits of celebrities. Tragically, OP refused to name names, except for Derren Brown, who they say was the nicest guy they’ve ever met.

The Worst Thing A Celebrity Has Done

I mean, it’s still pretty bad. The poor wife probably would have suspected this after being ditched over “snoring,” and multiple women coming in all night is even more overkill.

The Craziest Request

OP insists the concierge staff will do anything to help guests feel comfortable during their stay, but this request is more than a little excessive. Why didn’t he have his own toupee? How are people supposed to know what works for him, and in so little time?

Hiding Bodies

Asking the real questions here. What do they mean by “it happens?” Has someone ever asked a concierge to remove a body from the room? Or is it just normal to find a guest dead before checkout?

Calling the Police on Guests

This is about how I’d expect the very rich portion of the golf crowd to behave. As far as reasons to file a police report go, there’s nothing exuding class more than crashing a buggy into a “summer house.”

The Most Surprising Discovery

So this concierge wasn’t technically the one to find it, but…did the guest really think this was a good idea? How did they manage this in the first place? Did they get charged to replace the whole ceiling?

Probably the One Good Thing About the Job

If you’re working for a nice enough rich person, at least the tips must be pretty good. It almost makes up for the rest of the nightmarish stuff they have to deal with on the job.

Guests Worth Fighting

It’s not surprising that some of these rich and famous guests are entitled and obnoxious. But since his car broke down on their property, he blamed the hotel, which seems like a stretch. He didn’t care, though. I hope no one paid for his car repairs, not even his insurance.

The Hot Dog Question

We know you were thinking it too. You’ve been waiting this whole time for the most pressing comment in the whole AMA thread. This question is the most important thing on our minds since the start of this thread. It’s an age-old debate with no correct answer. Is a hot dog a sandwich? And what would Emma Watson taste like as a hot dog? Tragically, these answers still leave much to be desired, and the world may never know.
