This Closed Chicago Aquarium Let Out Their Penguins For Some Fun
In light of the Coronavirus globally impacting all offices, stores, restaurants, concerts, and bars, many are left with their creativity to ease the anxiety of others who are unsure of what will happen next. One wonderful place that is seizing this opportunity, is the visitor-less Shedd Aquarium in Chicago that is using its Twitter account to let their followers witness their own penguins roaming free.
Wellington the penguin was able to visit other fishes in his spare time, and Annie and Edward went on a joint date to explore the aquarium's rotunda. After these videos began to spread on Twitter, users couldn't help but express their joy in the aquarium's content and replied with requests for more in the coming days.
These penguins happened to remind some users of other famous penguins.
Many couldn't believe how emotional they were getting.
The sound of their feet deserved their own album.
People started placing their own requests for more content.
A 24-hour live stream might be necessary.
They are now our overlords.
One made a valid point to ask why there is never anyone at the information desk.
Here's hoping the photobooth was open.
As well as the gift shop.
Everyone was really happy to see Annie and Edward taking the time to go on a date.
They even got invitations to visit other places.
It's been a rough time for us all, so we appreciate this aquarium's effort to bring a smile to our faces.
After requests for more content, the aquarium promised to bring more to Twitter.
We look forward to seeing more of our new favorite celebrities!
