It's likely that everyone has seen the kinds of posts featured in this list. The posts that are being referred to are those super 'deep' images that are combined with some sort of text relaying a message about the world. They attempt to get across some sort of revolutionary, mind-blowing idea that will make everyone think differently forever. In reality, though, they are honestly pretty shallow, common, and super cringeworthy. There are really only two kinds of people out there who enjoy these posts genuinely, young teenagers and Boomers.

It's hard to say why exactly it's these groups specifically that enjoy them, but it definitely seems to be the trend.
