Some people are just naturally really good liars. Whether they learned as a mischievous kid to avoid getting into trouble and to get out of bad situations, or maybe they just have killer poker faces. But some are not. At all. For some reason lying on the internet is a popular pastime for some folks. Telling big extravagant stories about their lives that are filled with small miracles and people clapping. The over-the-top scenarios make the fact that the whole story is some big lie for attention or clout is so obvious. It's really cringeworthy seeing someone lie about how amazing they are or how smart their toddler is, which are oddly common things to see.

People lying on the internet happens everywhere, tweets filled with laughing emojis of ridiculous stories and posts from moms on Facebook bragging about their amazing lives. They aren't hard to find, and are very entertaining. Reddit's /r/thatHappened, a sarcastic title, is full of the most fake and insane stories found around the web. Here are just 15 of them to laugh at today.
