The Best Memes From Today's Nintendo Direct

The final Super Smash Brothers Ultimate Nintendo Direct ran this morning and the Smash community, as it is wont to do, went nuts. The major announcement was the inclusion of three new fighters: Ken from Street Fighter, Incineroar from Pokémon, and Piranha Plant from the Super Mario series. This is a far cry from the infamous "Grinch leak" which promised Geno, Banjo Kazooie, and Shadow the Hedgehog, among others. Also, the recent trend of Smash trailers literally killing characters reached a new high when a trailer for the game's adventure mode killed literally everyone except Kirby. Needless to say, some were stoked, some were disappointed, and everybody made memes. Here are some of our favorite parodies of today's Smash direct.
