With Stranger Things now having a wrapped-up season four, which was split into two parts, some fans have already grabbed at their chosen moment to make memes out of. Instead of doing things in a traditional sense, meaning releasing multiple episodes that are roughly 50 minutes to an hour and ten minutes in length, the second part of season four was broken up into two episodes, with the second one being 150 minutes of content, meaning there's a lot of stuff to comb over in search of memes.

One big meme to come from part two is Eddie Munson's 'This is music' which comes from a frantic moment in which the cast are trying to find music to ward off Vecna's possession, in a similar instance to Max's favorite song. The scene's audio, as well as screencaps of it, were able to make it into a multi-format meme that did well on both Twitter and TikTok, a rare occurrence.

The Original

This is the original scene as it was shown in the episode, with a full catalogue of pop music being rattled off before Eddie loudly proclaims that his metal, specifically Iron Maiden, is music.

On TikTok, the meme was mostly used as a way to give validation to alternative sources of musical audio, and letting people be able to show their favorite type of music as well, whether it comes from a movie, TV show, or even audiobooks. This was mostly done through the audio sample submitted by Mrvl.Lu, which has been sampled in over 77,000 videos all about the same meme.

You Sure?

In this example is the band Suicide Silence, which has always been a contentious band in the discussion of if they count as music or not among metalheads.
