One of the most popular TV shows, The Simpsons (an animated sitcom created by Matt Groening), has been known for predicting the future. This has led to the well-known catchphrase "The Simpsons did it" due to the large number of times that true world events can be linked back to The Simpsons episodes. Apparently, they've predicted some things no rational person would be able to predict, and even though some coincidences were bound to happen in over thirty years of a show airing, there's still something very off-putting about the specifics of these.
