COVID-19 is truly bringing out the creativity in everyone. In an effort to combat the Coronavirus, people have been flocking to stores to purchase hand sanitizer. Because the demand has been so high, stores are selling out, leaving people to their own devices to make their own at home. According to the CDC, the recipe for hand sanitizer requires 60% alcohol, which inspired many to use Tito's Vodka for some reason.

For an entire 24 hours, the official Twitter account for Tito's Vodka responded to pretty much every tweet that mentioned using their product as an ingredient to make hand sanitizer, letting each user know that their vodka only contains 40% alcohol. After the brand began to trend, many couldn't help but mock the countless amount of people who had chosen a reasonably nice vodka to create the hand sanitizer.

An entire book of the brand's tweets could probably be published.

Empathy for the brand's social media manager was felt by many.

Of course, seeing Tito's Vodka's name trend led many to think it had died.

The thought of wasting a perfectly good bottle of vodka was insane to many.

Especially when there are other bottles of garbage booze out there.

Salvador Dali wishes he could paint this week.

The brand's mission to prevent people from using their product was considered admirable.

Several users wondered why they weren't using Everclear instead.

The whole situation led many to appreciate their country and citizens more.

While others grew even more concerned for their nation.

If anything, Tito's Vodka might be doing a way better job than Mike Pence.

While Tito's Vodka clarified their alcohol content, many were left wondering what they should use instead.

It's a minor side-note, but "people aren't buying Corona because they're afraid it carries coronavirus" thing seems to be a misinterpretation of broader data that people aren't buying beer in GENERAL in major markets like China where such expenditures across the board have gone down due to outbreak concerns. But people always want to leap onto any possible opportunity to call the rest of the world idiots, so the misinterpretation has sold nicely.
