Oh, to be new in the working world again. After a 22-year-old employee of an unknown company stopped receiving answers to his emails, he did what any rational human would do by cc'ing the CEO of a company of 10,000 people. What's that, you say? That doesn't sound like something a rational person would do? Well, this guy somehow thought he'd found a great lifehack, and he went through with it anyway. Multiple times. Like, often enough that the CEO definitely got annoyed.

Despite hearing from his actual manager that he needs to stop emailing the head of his organization, the employee is not only contemplating including his CEO on his unanswered emails again, he actually posted on Reddit to gain perspective on his situation. After this story was later circulated on the Twitter / X account @AITA_reddit, many users jumped in to confirm that this young employee will probably be fired.

The post that started it all

Users were quick to point out that the young employee should probably thank his direct manager

Especially because his boss is probably the only reason he hasn't been fired

Both the title and story proved this kid was in trouble

Lists were made to demonstrate just how wrong the OP had messed up

Although, a debate occurred over whether or not the CEO was as bothered

Especially if he receives a thousand emails a day

Pretty much every single Twitter user confirmed that the OP was in fact in the wrong in this situation

Bless your heart

Probably sooner

Unless of course, he actually wants to get fired

Many were happy to share their thoughts on the CEO as well

Perhaps the OP should adopt this type of mentality?

Solution: cc a dummy account that looks like the CEO's but isn't. i.e. if the CEO's email is CEO@companyemail.com then use CEO@companyemaIl.com

That way you scare the shit outta your coworkers, without disturbing the higher ups.

That or stop giving a fuck, because your co-workers don't and they are still employed.

That's some serious bugman mentality. No one should want to work that seriously.
