The Reddit community has recently been looking different because of a surge of debate around the platform's API pricing changes. Reddit, which was once an open playground for developers and creativity, is now facing a storm of dissatisfaction as subreddit groups come together to express their worries. So basically, The Reddit API allows developers to access and interact with the platform's immense quantity of data, allowing the construction of diverse applications, bots, and tools that improve the Reddit experience. However, recent changes to API pricing have surprised and irritated many developers and subreddit moderators.

As the protest progressed, the majority of the subreddits' biggest and most notable moderators joined hands together for a "48-hour blackout" in which the subreddits went private, meaning that only approved users can access the subreddits, and some subreddits still have not reopened. Only time will tell how Reddit responds to the outrage and whether a settlement that pleases both parties can be achieved. But, for the time being, let's look at some of the dankest memes from Redditors, posted in frustration and uproar, that will be remembered for ages on Reddit.
