21 Emo And Goth Memes For A Look Back On The Terrible 2000s
During the 2000s, emo, goth, vamp kids and scene kids ruled much of the web, and their legacy in online culture has never fully disappeared. These kids would dye their hair dark and use some uncomfortable abbreviations in casual texting, and it was honestly a dark time in terms of humor, but the sort of content they created unintentionally became hilarious years later, since it's just so bad it's good.
These sorts of things didn't age well, and honestly they just shouldn't have been created in the first place, so in a way they were never okay to begin with. But even though time has passed, we can laugh twice as hard at these sorts of social media posts. Although their once great Tumblr kingdoms have fallen from grace, these images and memes prove that edgy kids will never be completely forgotten from the annals of online mythos, and that their terrible posts will live on in our halls of fame forever.
