Man, in his infinite hubris, has concocted many dishes that are affronts to nature yet are still consumed by the public. That entrepreneurial culinary spirit lives on in subreddits like /r/cursedfoods, which are devoted to posts featuring some of mankind's boldest and often horrifying food innovations.

Reddit's /r/cursedfoods, started in 2018, has racked up over 41,000 subscribers thanks to intrepid gastro-nauts who want to highlight some of the foulest concoctions they can cook up. This collection of posts showcases such concoctions. However gross they may appear, they are technically edible, albeit for only the most adventurous diners. Nothing here has gone bad, despite what it may look like. It's simply a collection of some tremendously unappealing food combinations (that for some reason usually includes hot dogs).

Are you bold enough to give these foods a shot? Can you handle the mac and cheese and fishsticks? The Hot-durger? Read on to see for yourself.
