Zoomers were born into a world of chaos that they've only added to ever since. It's not that they meant to add to it, but rather that they saw society crumbling around them and began to turn to nihilism, which, when combined with the adolescent brain, leads to some very odd things. They vape while crying in school bathroom stalls and talk about the upcoming end of the world more freely than any generation before them. They're generally regarded as dramatic, spoiled or anxiety-ridden, but the latter is the only one that's particularly true.

In contrast to Boomers and Millennials, the children of Generation Z have their own haircuts and humor and readily embrace their weirdness. They also have their own perspectives on the world we live in, and as such, they share some common memories and observations to joke about. For all of you born into the 2000s, here are 20 memes just for you.

As someone born in '99, I would like apologize for everyone born after 2005, they're stupid.

I mean, I think kids have to go through some phases of self discovery, and oftentimes it's embarrassing, especially if you're an older generation looking back in hindsight. I feel it's best to let the kids figure out who they are and not worry so much about if it's "stupid"; I'm sure looking back on things will feel weird for them, much as it does for you or does for me. – A Millennial "boomer"
