Monday saw the end of an era for one of the world's most recognizable music groups — Daft Punk. After eight years of "Get Lucky" being the sound of the summer and no new albums or tours, the duo released their "Epilogue" video confirming their split.

Was up painfully late one night watching Cartoon Network. some animated music video came on, and the music was amazing. It was a shame I had to have the volume on so low to not wake up the rest of the house. The video looked like anime, and there were blue aliens, and it kept going! The story continue through four whole songs, each one better than the last. I had no idea what it was.
Went to the library with just the name of the band. They had Discovery on CD. Took it home, listened to the whole thing start-to-finish with my eyes closed in the dark, and that is the closest thing I've ever had to a religious experience.
