Often times people expect a certain answer to be given to a question when asked. Generally something straightforward and concise or helpful that is inquisitive and correct. These kinds of answers aren't always the most fun though.

They can also just be boring, which is why answers that are technically the truth are way better. Statements that are technically not wrong are the kinds of things that you wouldn't expect to read but no one can really argue with them because they aren't wrong, they're just not right. They're usually very literal and probably a little too obvious.

They can be annoying because they don't truly advance anyone's inquiring minds, but that's okay, the fact that they're funny is all that really matters anyway. Reddit's /r/TechnicallyTheTruth is the place that collects these silly answers from all sorts of places all around the web and puts them into one place where everyone can see them and appreciate the wit and intelligence behind them.

Here are 15 statements that are almost impossible to argue with.
