In the age of "fake news," it might be time that we declare satire an official language, because many are still finding it difficult to decipher. Yes, some news is fake news. It's pretty obvious when it is, though. Satire sites do everything they can to stay both relevant and funny, and we can't shame them for the things they put out, because fake news can be pretty entertaining. But we definitely can shame the people who think it's real news even though it's so clearly not. And somehow, there are still so many of us who fall for it every day, often resulting in hilarious comments.

While The Onion has been around for over thirty years, it appears countless people remain unfamiliar with it, and often accept their headlines to be true. Thanks to the subreddit /r/AteTheOnion, we are happy to present you 11 people genuinely believing these articles to be real news.
