The subreddit /r/WallStreetBets made big waves in early 2021, with the Gamestop short squeeze and other iconic moments. Amateur traders coordinating together online changed the way the world saw the stock market and sought to democratize what was essentially a moneymaking machine exclusively for the rich. But a lot has changed in the world and the markets since that moment.
