With the release of the new Lightyear movie only days away, it came as a shock to some when the film was prematurely banned in several countries prior to release. Due to the inclusion of a female to female kiss in the movie, it was removed from the same countries that also threatened to remove Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker if similar scenes weren't removed from the theatrical release of the movies.
