After over a year since the announcement of the Super Mario Bros. Movie, we finally have a teaser trailer for the upcoming film, and the memes have spread like wildfire. Long before the trailer even came out, the movie was already being made fun of for the odd casting choices, with Chris Pratt as the voice of Mario and other big names such as Keegan-Michael Key as Toad.

For the most part, we are all very satisfied with the trailer, and most of the casting choices. Jack Black as the voice of Bowser turned out to be a great decision (as we can see how cool he sounds in the trailer). But, just as we had expected, Chris Pratt's Mario voice was… something, to say the least. It almost feels like Pratt didn't even try to mimic an Italian plumber's accent, and it's left a bad taste in many of our mouths. Granted we only got to see a few seconds of him speaking, so maybe the movie will give us a pleasant surprise (at least I hope).
