The latest economic data released by the United States government shows that unemployment is down for humans. Based off these posts, it would seem that the decrease in unemployment is a cross-species trend, as it appears the economy has picked up several feline workers. Yes, you read that correctly: these cats have jobs.

Some of them are working in service-oriented fields where their softness and general cuteness must be an advantage. Others seem to be embarking upon careers that seem less suited to cats. Appreciators of industrious kitties post pictures of their cats with jobs on Reddit's /r/Catswithjobs, one of the most wholesome subreddits ever to exist. We can only hope these exceptionally hardworking and furry cats are fairly compensated for their labor with plenty of pets and delicious treats. Most of them seem happy, and not grumpy.
